Lifetime Monitoring

Monitoring of components used in the boiler as well as in high temperature piping plays an important role. The new plants utilize significantly high steam parameters and thus a lower design reserve. At the same time, especially in Germany a higher flexibility due the modulation of the power grid is required. Startup and shut-down processes are expected more frequently.
Our linking with the electricity industry leads to the development of our MLM System for monitoring creep and fatigue, as well as the functionality of the hanger system. This is an important precondition for maintaining the operation reliability, early reactions to eliminate malfunctions and thus contribute to an optimization of the lifetime of the plant.
