Phosphor Recycling

Phosphorus (P) is an essential element and is indispensable for all life processes.
In 2014 the European Union has put phosphorus on the list of „critical raw materials“. In Germany, we have been thinking for years about how phosphorus could
be tapped through secondary sources. With the re-organisation of the AbfKläV, the way has now been set for a reorientation to the principle of sustainability. The
operators of appropriate wastewater treatment plants are required to recover phosphorus. With our technology partner (EUPHORE) we are able to develop, plan and build turnkey plants to recovery phosphorus from sewage sludge.
